Anaïs
Anaïs Nguyen Thé (she/her) is a multidisciplinary artist (dancer, musician, illustrator) and has been teaching swing dance (lindy hop, solo jazz) and blues since 2015. In 2021, she moved to Grenoble. Since then, she has been teaching, performing, and organizing events with Mécanika’Swing. She also travels throughout France and Europe to dance, teach and compete in international competitions.
Since 2023, she has also been performing as a dancer in the swing and contemporary dance show “Echoes of the Jungle.”
On the musical side, she sings and is the lead vocalist of the swing band The Downtown Stompers. Her experience as a musician constantly enriches both her dancing and her teaching.
Teaching swing and blues is a great opportunity for her to encourage the expression of each dancer, in joy, musicality, creativity and respect for the origins of these dances inseparable from their history.
Nathan
Nathan (he/him) sees dance as a laboratory for experimenting with rhythms, grooves, and moods, letting himself be guided above all by the musicians. Passionate about jazz culture and always on the lookout for new tracks, he considers the practice of swing dancing to be inseparable from listening to the music. Whether leading, following, or dancing solo, he draws inspiration from both past and present influences, in jazz and beyond.
Katie
Katie Cobalt tried many different dance styles before falling in love with Swing. The freedom of improvisation, the satisfaction of rhythm and the deep historical and Black cultural roots of the dance made her want to learn more.
She is now known for her classroom energy, musicality, and infectious enthusiasm for all things Jazz. When it comes to dance, they deeply value self expression and fully committing to the idea. As a teacher, she focuses on individually helping her students on their own dance journeys and finds so much joy in seeing them grow.
Katie holds multiple first place titles at, International Lindy Hop Championships, Balkan Lindy Hop Championships and Savoy Cup. When not throwing down in international competitions they are teaching all over the world in more than 20 countries sharing what they have learned. When not on the dance floor you might find them in a hip hop class or on the stage at their local drag bar as Azure Thang.
Than Than
Thanh Thanh Nguyễn (she/her) always connected to movement in different forms, stumbled upon Lindy Hop in 2016 and she has since embarked on an incredible journey, letting her passion for dance be her life’s compass. In Vietnam, she became part of the Saigon Swing Cats and learned about the African American roots of jazz.
In 2021, Thanh Thanh relocated to Europe, where she continued to hone her dance craft and broadened her perspective on contemporary dance. Her connection to swing dance and funky grooves grew even stronger. She is now happily based in Paris, ready to share her dance wherever the rhythms take her. In her classes, she teaches authentic jazz moves while also encouraging everyone to find their own expressions through self-awareness and improvisation.
Hanna
It was love at first sight when Hanna attended a Lindy Hop taster on a cold January night in Stockholm in 2014. Both inside and outside Gothenburg, Hanna teaches Solo/Authentic Jazz and Lindy Hop/Charleston, aiming to teach in a way that makes everyone swing, sweat, and smile.
She thinks the most magical aspects of swing dancing are creativity, space for expression, amazing music, the fantastic swing communities she has visited worldwide, and the wonderful people she has met through dancing.

Anne
Anne discovered Lindy Hop 20 years ago and has pursued swing dancing as a passionate hobby ever since. Alongside her professional career, she has spent many years teaching at dance associations and events at local, national, and international levels, while continuously developing her own dancing and teaching through extensive study and practice.
As a teacher, Anne focuses on playfulness, musicality, connection, and the joy of movement. She strives to create an inclusive and inspiring space where dancers can explore their own expression, build confidence, and develop their skills.
Anne also dances House and has studied dance and movement therapy, creative dance practices for children and young people, and the use of dance in broader social and organizational contexts. Her broad and curious approach to movement brings creativity and fresh perspectives to her teaching.
The Band
Born in 2015 out of the collaboration between a musician and a dancer, Reverent Juke has its roots in the golden era of swing.
With an explosive rhythm section built on the swinging drums of Tom Lambrecht, the bouncing bass and singing of Andrew Bolton and the wild stride of Julien Gillain, Reverent Juke sets the swing on fire with its three blowers, Martin Bolton on clarinet, Pauline Leblond on trumpet and Mathieu Najean on reeds, blowing their horns on the fiery flames till they drop.
In 2019 they released We Are The Juke, their first album, composed of 12 songs of pure swing, followed in 2021 by A Night With The Jukes, a vinyl featuring 10 songs recorded live. In 2022 they released The Great Juke Session, and in 2024 Jukin‘ Around.
Born in Ghent, raised in Brussels, Reverent Juke is now attending Lindy Hop festivals everywhere in Europe and in the world.

Isilde
Sharing and creativity are essential aspects Isilde loves to embrace when it comes to dancing Lindy-hop (and especially Switch!)She discovered Swing dancing in 2021 and one year later, her desires to explore more elements of social dancing pushed her into leading; this is how she quickly came up with switch dancing! For her, this is a great way to express individuality and creativity while developing listening skills within Lindy-hop. She also believes that learning to lead, follow, and switch gives more possibilities, surprises, and empathy in the dance.Isilde also teaches Lindy-hop in Paris where she invites her students to explore social and creativity aspects while always being connected to Jazz music. Joy, respect and exploring are key in her teaching approach.
Swing Kitsune
Isac
Isac (he/him) has always been eager to find new music to dance to, listen to, sing along to. Discovering Lindy Hop in 2011 a new world of swing jazz tunes opened up to him. A few years later he tried out DJing – and got hooked.
Isac has a love for classic swing musicians like Fats Waller, Erroll Garner and Illinois Jacquet and often play songs which accentuate some kind of playfulness in instruments such as the piano, saxophone or trumpet. Mostly DJing tunes from the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s and always looking for new ways to keep the dancers interested in finding the groove in the music.
DJing regularly at West Coast Jitterbugs since 2022 he also is interested in learning more about the musicians that shaped the music that we all love to dance to. Isac started out DJing for Swingkatten in Uppsala and since he moved to Gothenburg he has played at regular social dances as well as big events such as Julfesten, Duke’s Place, Swingin‘ Spring and Gothenburg Queer Lindy Festival.

Rooster
You’re fluent in both roles and switch easily, regardless of the song’s speed.
You check in with partners about role choices and dance naturally in either without needing to prep.
You’d confidently enter Intermediate-Advanced to Advanced tracks in your off-role at a local festival.
Donkey
You’d consider signing up for Cat or Rooster classes if it comes to switching, but they get up far too early for you. You just need a bit longer in the morning when you’re the last one to leave the party.
You enjoy switching, but you’re also really really keen on solo jazz and want to spend half the class sessions working on your solo moves with Jeff Tong.

Locations
The venues of Sw!tch Man Tau! 2027 are located in the Neustadt, easily accessible by tram (4/6) from Bremen Train Station (15 Minutes) or by foot (30 Minutes).
On Sunday, the Tea Dance will take place in another part of Town: Findorff. From Bremen Train Station it will take you 20 min by foot or 10 min by bus (26/27)
